Complete Mantra:
Waa yantee kar yantee, jag dut patee, aadak it waha, brahmaday trayshaa guroo, it wahay guroo

Great Macroself, Creative Self. All that is creative through time, all that is the Great One. Three aspects of God: Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh. That is Wahe Guru.
More Information:
This mantra was given by Patanjali, a great Yogi. It is said that over two thousand years ago Patanjali was lecturing students on prophets who would come in the iron age, the age of Kaliyug. He prophesied Guru Nanak Dev Ji's coming into the world and gave the "Wah Yantee" mantra which describes Wahe Guru. The "Wah Yantee" mantra also predicted the coming of the "Wahe Guru" mantra. The "Wah Yantee" mantra is known for awakening the intuition. Wha Yantee is one of the mantras on every Aquarian Sadhana CD. According to Yogi Bhajan the practice of this mantra is the culmination of hundreds of years of prayer.

The yogic teachings tell us that the most effective time to meditate is between the hours of 3:00 and 6:00 a.m., known as the ambrosial hours. This is when the channels are the clearest and worldly distractions are at their lowest ebb. Yogic practices during this time are called "Sadhana". For me, staying awake is the first priority. So, to keep ourselves, and others awake, we have developed some fairly up-tempo chanting. Apologies for those who like slower music at that time of the morning.

We are given at birth all the tools we need to heal and to maintain ourselves in a healthy, happy and holy condition. Only we come into contact with many unnatural environments and influences as we develop including our own neuroses. These bring us into states of disharmony and out of balance. All healing work essentially does one thing. It creates a situation so the energy can flow. The chanting of healing mantras relaxes the mind from the constant flow of thoughts and elevates the mood. Further, chanting causes stimulation of the glandular system which results in hormonal release and changes the cell chemistry. In this way mantra chanting is able to influence mental and physical disease. The purpose of this CD is to bring into use mantras and spiritual poems that have specific healing properties as well as begin to use a few simple yogic technologies that bring one into balance to begin the healing process and stay in balance.
