Complete Mantra:
Om triambakam yajamahe
Sugandhim pushti vardanam
Urvarukamiva bandhanan
Mrityor muksheeya mamritat

Shelter me, o three-eyed Lord Shiva.
Bless me with health and immortality
and sever me from the clutches of death,
even as a cucumber is cut from its creeper.

More Information:
One of the striking messages in this mantra is that it is the inward dwelling spirit or soul that nourishes and sustains the body. To experience optimal health, we must take as
much, if not more time to nourish the soul as we do to nourish the body. We must balance our physical fitness with meditation and use our energy to make the necessary changes in
our lives to honor the soul. This is crucial because as soon as our actions cease to be in line with our truth - who we are and what we want - the mind becomes anxious and
restless. Such mental conflict eats away our energy and eventually leads to physical disease.
